This Week in Teams was … fairly quiet … unless you’re a Teams Free user. Teams Free is designed to compete with the Zooms and Go to Meeting free accounts but brings a mixture of collaboration and limitless free meetings. New features including scheduling, live captions, and custom backgrounds flooded the news this week (and watch out for that “Add new” button in your custom background selection pane!). Also, Microsoft’s Teams Meeting Capture app and offline availability for pinned chats and channels hit the market this week. Actually, it’s pretty busy for an “off” week.
